Terrence J. Lawrence was hired into the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics as the Student-Athlete Retention & Compliance Coordinator in August 2014. Terrence is responsible for tracking student-athletes academics including intervention and support. With a passion for working with youth and young adults, Terrence has continued a legacy of hard work and dedication since he began his educational pursuit at Columbus State Community College.
The Canton, Ohio native completed his Associate of Applied Science / Sports Management degree at Columbus State, before moving on to Capital University (Bachelors of Arts/Health & Fitness Management). More recently, he completed his Master of Science Degree/Sport Leadership at Duquesne University and was inducted into the CSCC Sports & Exercise Science Hall of Fame in May 2014.
Prior to Columbus State, Terrence held a leadership position within the City of Columbus Parks and Recreation as Center Manager of the Milo Grogan Community Center.
