Verma leads men's cross country team at Ohio Wesleyan Invitational

Sophomore Kunal Verma lead the Columbus State men's cross country team at the Ohio Wesleyan Invitational on Saturday at Liberty Park in Powell. Verma placed 51st overall at the 8k race with a time of 29:09.8, while the winner, OWU's John Sotos, ran in a time of 26:26.6.

Lucas Collins was the second Cougar to cross the finish line with a time of 33:27.6, followed by Thomas Shaw in 98th place with a time of 36:54.0, Jesus Davis placed 99th in 37:42.6, and Glauco Fontgalland rounded off Columbus State' scoring with a 100th place finish in 40:33.

Ashland University won the meet, followed by Ohio Wesleyan and University of Findlay. For complete results of the meet, click here.
