Null leads men's cross country team in Otterbein Invitational

WESTERVILLE, Ohio - The Columbus State men's cross country team competed in the Otterbein University Invitational on Saturday held at the Lehman XC Course. The meet hosted 215 runners from twenty colleges.

Two Cougar runners had top 100 finishes in the eight-kilometer race. Cody Null was first to cross the finish line for Columbus State, running a 29:33.0 for a 72nd place finish. Adam Glass finished 90th in 29:53.6. 

Jesus Davis ran a 32:50.6 for 171st place while Zach Leahy grabbed 109th with a 22:44.8. Thomas Shaw rounded out the scoring, finishing in 35:36.6 for 200th place.

John Sotos of Ohio Wesleyan University won the race in 26:25.1 while Otterbein grabbed the top prize as a team.

The Cougars are back in action on Sat, Sep. 24 when they host the Columbus State invitational at the Delaware Campus.
