Null presents at Harvard as part of research through Columbus State

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Cross country runner and Columbus State sophomore Cody Null recently presented at a conference held at Harvard University August 6-10.

The conference included a poster session and several talks from 44 professors about the transition from using the Chandra telescope for research to the future Lynx telescope. The purpose of the poster sessions were for small talk and to share their research with other students.

Null conducted his research with Anjali Gupta with CSCC astronomy instructor Anjali Gupta in Nestor Hall. Gupta and Null would meet once or twice a week to keep on track. According to Null, "most days I would use a computer program to refine data from the Chandra telescope in an effort to identify properties, density, and the baryonic fraction of my specific area of space."
