Pusey leads women's golf to a ninth place finish at OWU Invitational

OSTRANDER, Ohio -- The Columbus State women's golf team pulled off a strong 9th place finish at the Ohio Wesleyan Invitational on Sunday. A field of sixteen teams, Columbus State finished with a 370 (+82) at the annual tournament, held at the par-72 Mill Creek Golf Club. The tournament was shortened to one day after Saturday's adverse weather conditions.

Sophomore Sean Pusey led the way for the Cougars, tying for fifth in a field of 88 participants. Pusey shot a team-low 82 (+10). Ayla Bogie of Madonna University won the tournament shooting a 77.

Tying for 42nd overall, freshman Sydney Kelly carded a 92. Sophomores Claudia Podolski (57th) and Kellie Feehan (t-64th) finished with a 96 and 100 respectively.

Madonna University won the tournament with a 323 (+35), followed by the College of Wooster (338) and Davenport University (342). Complete results can be found here
