Columbus State Moves Up to No. 3 in the Latest NJCAA DIII Volleyball Poll

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Columbus State volleyball team moved up one spot to No. 3 in the latest National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) DIII released on Wednesday. Previously, the Cougars were No. 4 in the pre-season poll that came out on Aug. 15.

With an overall record of 5-1, the Cougars have taken down three DII teams, two DIII teams and dropped one match to a DII team.

Columbus State is the only college in the region to appear in the DIII rankings.  The No. 3 ranking is the highest in the poll since Columbus State transitioned back to DIII in 2016.

This week, the Cougars face Sinclair on Wednesday at home then hit the road on Friday to face Ohio University-Chillicothe.
