Cougar Cross Country Finishes 11th at OWU Invitational

POWELL, Ohio – The Columbus State cross country team concluded its second race of the season in 11th place at the Ohio Wesleyan University Invitational on Saturday morning. The 8k men's race and 6k women's race were held at Liberty Park.

Kyle Roach was Columbus State's top finisher, clocking a 31:26.2. Close behind Roach was Bryce Hanson, who cross the line at 31:52.1.

Rounding out the scoring effort for the Cougars were Josiah Schooler, Dylan Williams, and Nickolas Caiazza, and Demetri Lowry. Schooler finished in 33:12.8 while Williams and and Caiazza cross the line at 33:36.5 and 34:48.4 respectively.

Representing Columbus State in the women's race were freshmen Emily Blenk and Marley Hogan. Blenk finished in 26:30.6 while Hogan completed the race in 32:21.5.
